Digital currency firm, Circle Internet Financial launches Circle Ventures to invest in early-stage blockchain projects and companies, the company says in a release. Circle Ventures portfolio companies will have access to fundraising platform SeedInvest's network of 500K+ investors, in addition to compliant internet capital information. The venture capital fund has already deployed capital and looks to business owners, developers and innovators in the blockchain ecosystem to help find opportunities for future deployments. "Circle Ventures is another way to contribute, and we're excited to support our industry's innovators and entrepreneurs and identify compelling early-stage companies, technologies, projects and protocols to help realize our mission," said Circle Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Green. Recall in the beginning of October, Circle Internet Financial gets a subpoena from the SEC.
