Guggenheim's Minerd sees Bitcoin going back to $20,000

Guggenheim Global CIO Scott Minerd said he expects that Bitcoin (BTC-USD) will retrace back to $20,000, according to interview on CNBC."We probably have put in the top for bitcoin for the next year or so. We are likely to see a full retracement back to the $20,000 level,'' Minerd said on CNBC.Minerd manages the $5.3B Guggenheim Macro Opportunities Fund (GIOIX, GIOAX). Guggenheim in November announced that the firm would allow the fund to put up to 10% of its net asset value in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC).Recall Jan. 15,Scott Minerd of "Bitcoin at $400K" calls for restraint after crypto runup.Minerd just last month raised some eyebrows with his call that Bitcoin could reach $400,000.
