In the midst of some difficult months for the international stock markets, cryptocurrencies have almost recovered to their all-time highs.It is interesting that this recovery happened in absence of rising stock markets, this is a clear trend break with large Bitcoin price moves in the past.In this article, I try to find reasons if and why the correlation between Bitcoin and the stock markets could have changed or reverted.Rising worldwide inflation is a topic of which the impact on cryptocurrency is not so clear-cut, but it might have real influence.Be careful, since during the last couple of years, Bitcoin often experienced large moves downwards after volatility increases.
