dulezidar/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Crypto firm Apifiny announced Thursday that it’s hired a new chief financial officer as the company prepares for an expected go-public deal later this year. Apifiny said it tapped Erez Simha as its new president and CFO. The executive formerly held the same titles at Nasdaq-listed Mercurity Fintech Holdings (MFH). Simha also previously served as CFO of other public and private companies, including Stratasys (SSYS), which he helped take public. SSYS currently has more than a $1.4B market capitalization. “Erez brings a proven track record of taking global companies public and accelerating their growth before and after public offerings,” Apifiny CEO Haohan Xu said in announcing the appointment. “His executive leadership success in both private and public global tech companies will bring tremendous value to our customers, our team, and the market at-large.” Apifiny has been beefing up its governance as the company prepares to
