Regulations will strengthen the ecosystem and boost investor confidence.Introduction of a CBDC/digital dollar would fashion cryptocurrencies into a vehicle of dollarization, fostering greater economic and financial integration with trading partners.Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are a far greater threat to unfavored and unstable regional currencies than they are to the U.S. dollar, which given thoughtful regulation and integration, they will likely strengthen.
